Prior to joining SEC Newgate, James gained insightful experience in Parliament. He worked for three Liberal Democrat Lords, including the Treasury Spokesperson, Baroness Kramer; and previously former Minister for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation, Sam Gyimah.
He has an MA in International Politics and a BA in Politics. At university, he was awarded Outstanding Service to a Project and Outstanding Male Contribution to Sport during his time as President of his universities’ American Football team as he led them to Athletic Union Club of the Year.
