Simon is an award-winning former business journalist and editor with 15 years’ experience in national newsrooms across the UK, including the Daily Mail, Guardian, Evening Standard and Independent.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate Simon was business editor for PA Media writing and commissioning the biggest business, finance and economics stories of the day.

He has an unparalleled knowledge of the UK mainstream media and the demands of a modern newsroom and is an expert in crisis comms, advisory and strategy work, media training and writing content for corporate clients across a wide range of topics and sectors.
