Tom is an award-winning agency leader with over twenty years’ experience in corporate communications, corporate affairs advisory, corporate campaigns and global programmes. He leads The Lab, home to SEC Newgate’s digital, research, brands and campaigns teams, supporting across all aspects of the consultancy’s work.

His expertise is focused on campaigns that bring together a breadth of communication skills to solve mission critical business challenges and he has worked across UK, European and global programmes. Working with everything from fast growth start-ups to global brands, he has successfully advised businesses through global launches, significant issues and crisis, digital change, internal advocacy and major acquisitions.

Before SEC Newgate, held a series of leadership roles at EMEA and global agencies, responsible for growth, integration and innovation. He writes regularly, including a report, New Collectivism: Building Better Business on how the changing norms in business, politics, regulation and consumer behaviour can be harnessed to shape a more positive society.
