A former journalist, Andrew has spent more than 20 years advising organisations on how to position, promote and protect their corporate reputation and build a narrative that defines their purpose in a world of increasing scrutiny and where business is expected to show ethical, social and environmental leadership.
Andrew heads SEC Newgate UK Green & Good, which works with clients in the environmental and sustainability sectors and in social investment and enterprise. The team provides strategic communications advice and campaign development covering corporate reputation and brand development, special situations and brand protection, thought leadership and governance issues and planning.
He works with clients that have a strong environmental and ethical story to tell and which are seeking to shape a purpose and ESG narrative around their strategy and operations. Some clients are already leaders in the Green and Good space, others aspire to raise their profile and drive change through their business and sector.
