Matthew is an experienced digital communications specialist, creating content and developing digital strategy for a range of organisations and leaders across the public, private and charity sectors. He is the Video and Audio Lead for Studio, SEC Newgate’s home for creative content.

Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Matthew started his career as a stagiaire in the European Parliament before working as a researcher for a Member of the European Parliament.

He then spent time in campaigns and advocacy for two of the world’s largest conservation charities.

Matthew enjoyed five years as a Senior Advisor for a Member of the Welsh Parliament, running the member’s digital communications. The videos he produced were viewed millions of times and successful campaigns he developed gained international media attention.

Matthew has a first-class honours degree in Political Science from Goldsmiths College, the University of London, and an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Edinburgh.
