Perry’s career has been defined by his involvement in politics and public affairs. Previously a Special Adviser in the Major government of the early 1990s, he enjoyed a successful career in public affairs, working for a range of clients at the heart of Westminster.

Over the past 15 years, Perry has brought his experience to bear at a local level. He has helped many of the UK’s leading developers steer a calm path through the choppy waters of public consultation, engaging communities and their elected representatives in order to deliver positive change. While most of his experience sits locally – from estate regeneration to building safety comms to battery storage schemes – he also works on large infrastructure projects and headed the team supporting Gatwick Airport with its consultation on plans to bring its Northern Runway into regular use.

As part of the leadership team at SEC Newgate, Perry provides strategic advice to clients across the agency and is adept at crisis management.
