Ben delivers purpose-led communications that protect reputations, improve perceptions and change behaviours. He develops and executes strategic communications campaigns across media relations, digital content, and stakeholder and employee engagement.

A committee member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ special interest group on the property sector, Ben works with clients in the built environment – including residential and commercial developers, investors, agents and consultants, alongside proptech firms – on expanding their share of voice in the UK and European real estate market. Clients include leading UK property consultancy Allsop and US-based developers and investors such as Barings and Trammell Crow Company.

Before joining SEC Newgate in 2022, Ben delivered media and social content on behalf of housing associations and major London regeneration schemes, as well as behaviour change public relations campaigns for the likes of NHS England, the Department for Education, the National Apprenticeship Service, and Mental Health First Aid England.

Ben is a prolific writer for SEC Newgate’s channels on social purpose and property, and is the editor of its report into how the UK’s cost of living crisis is impacting different sectors.
