Christine primarily advises clients across the transport, infrastructure and utilities sectors, providing strategic counsel and developing and delivering public affairs campaigns.
Before joining SEC Newgate (formerly Newington), Christine was Head of Public Affairs at the Rail Delivery Group, the rail industry’s strategic body, and political adviser to a Shadow Secretary of State for Transport.
She began her career in the charity sector and in agency, and has worked with clients across a range of heavily-regulated sectors, including transport and travel, energy, property and retail, FMCG and pharma/health.
Christine is a member of the Women in Public Affairs Executive Committee and former Chair of the CIPR Public Affairs Committee. She was formerly a Labour London Assembly candidate and chair of London Young Labour, and is a committee member of Labour in the City. She was shortlisted for Consultant of the Year at the 2020 PRCA Public Affairs Awards, and in 2021 was included in the Women in Westminster: The 100 list of influential women in public life.
My proudest moment professionally was calling a client who had just spoken directly with the Chancellor
to secure support for their industry during the pandemic, after a successful campaign to protect self-employed people
