Laura has worked in communications and engagement roles for over four years.
This has included political and business engagement alongside conferences, events and exhibitions for clients including British Land, Taylor Wimpey and TfL across multiple London authorities. She has helped to secure approvals for a number of applications and has led the delivery of outdoor exhibitions for clients. Laura has a degree in British Politics and Legislative Studies from the University of Hull, alongside a Masters from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Laura is currently Vice-Chair Communications for her local Labour Party in Watford where she supports candidates, the Labour group and the wider membership with broadcasting, digital and print communications. Through her political activism, Laura has had articles in the New European, written blogs and articles for the Young Fabians alongside a chapter in Volume 2 of Jacqui Smith and Ian Dale’s book Honourable Ladies.
In addition to work and politics, Laura listens to an eclectic mix of music and enjoys live shows and theatre.
My proudest achievement is being a graduate of the Labour Party’s Jo Cox Women in Leadership Programme, a training programme for women who are ready to lead in the Labour Party.
