We are incredibly proud to be recognised as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work for the third year in a row. This award is special to us as it represents who we are and how we work together. It goes beyond the surface and looks at the DNA of our culture.  Our scores have also improved year on year, which reflects the commitment we have made to always try and do better – to never take our culture for granted.

Culture for us is something we build collectively, every day, in every interaction. We’ve said it before, but there is a feeling you get when you come to our office for the first time - it’s often noted, but harder to articulate. Our core value of respect plays a huge role in this. It isn’t accidental.

We could not have achieved this recognition without the dedication of our brilliant and talented people. Every individual brings unique skills, experiences and perspectives that strengthen us. What unites us is the shared commitment to building a culture where people feel respected, valued and able to do their best work.

As a leadership team, we hold ourselves accountable when it comes to how people experience SEC Newgate. People are at the heart of every decision we make. We want to know what’s working well, and equally what needs to be evolved to move us forward. Taking part in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work annually is one of the ways we hold ourselves accountable and demonstrate our commitment to our team. As always, we will take what we have learned this year and continue to build something meaningful.
