A former IPR Young Communicator of The Year and PRCA judge, Laura has 25 years of agency experience, across property, hospitality and tourism.

Laura’s client experience includes Belmond, Expedia, Canary Wharf Group, Countryside Partnerships, Ballymore, Capital and Counties (Capco) and Urban & Civic, with a number of branded residence developments overseas, i.e. Six Senses and Soneva. She has crafted communications for large opportunity areas including Nine Elms, Covent Garden and Earls Court whilst also working with tourism boards on creating meaningful experiences for communities and authentic experiences for tourists and visitors.

Prior to SEC Newgate, Laura led the 20-strong property team at LUCHFORD and previously spent eight years at FTI.

Laura is an avid fan of and participator in the communications industry, leads the internal communications practice at SEC Newgate and spends much of her time guiding on on issues management and D, E and I I strategies. She is driven to achieve empathetic leadership through emotional intelligence, effective teamwork and healthy relationships.

She is a blackbelt in yoga and enjoys cold water swimming, lifting weights and time with her husband and three little people.

My side hustle is helping my husband start up food brands…we launched The Coconut Collaborative from our kitchen in 2011, a protein ball company in 2017 and now have keto and mushroom brands on the go. Our home is generally a dumping ground for artwork, food packaging and crowdfunding backdrops.
